“El Chapo De Sinaloa was born in a small corner of the beautiful state of Sinaloa, called Huejote, municipality of Badiraguato. The year 2009, specifically May 10, marks the 25th Anniversary of his artistic career, years in which he has made more than 25 record productions and has earned the affection and admiration of his audience, which is the best reward for his effort and tenacity.
El Chapo grew up with his family and the harmonious and typical banda music that characterizes this state of the Mexican Republic. One of his dreams as a child was to become part of a Musical Band, this is how his childhood was spent going to school, working in the fields and learning to play his favorite instrument “the clarinet” with whose notes he began to accompany himself by singing lyrically. .
Descended from a country family, his love for horses was born while he watched the men of his house ride; especially to his grandfather, who only allowed him to ride a donkey and who told him “Riding a horse, it is dangerous Chapo, wait until you grow up and then you will ride a good horse”, so another dream reached his essence as a child, Ride your own horse and sing.
The dreams of a child begin to become history, “El Chapo” whom his family affectionately called him that way, because he was small and small, at just 11 years of age, he already mastered the clarinet in a Band, a few years later Later he was part of a musical group, playing the electric bass, his restlessness led him to venture into other genres, without losing his love for the Wind Band, which characterized him and with which he began his recordings.
“El Chapo” earns to be distinguished as “The Number One of the Jaripeo” for the mark he leaves in each and every one of his equestrian shows, with his inseparable cuacos “El Atezado”, “El Diablo”, “El Tauro”. ” “El Navajón” and “El Olympic” who dance to the rhythm of the hits that “El Chapo” performs in his unique and unmistakable style.
