The Iron Lily Venue is a reception hall located in Bakersfield, California. We have two rooms that rent together to hold up to 388 guests! The first room, commonly used for wedding receptions, holds up to 300 guests which makes it one of the largest venues in Bakersfield. This room is also used for quinceañeras and corporate events, and it features a built-in stage area for your head table. There is another raised stage area commonly used for a Master of Ceremonies (DJ) or a live band. This room also has a small bar area for drinks. It comes with access to the kitchen area for catering prep. Tables and chairs are included with every rental.
Our 2nd room is a great add-on to your event, or can be booked independently for birthday parties, baby and wedding showers, family reunions, corporate events, and even weekly group meetings (single room rental only available on events occurring within 60 days of booking). It allows for additional guests to our main room (approximately 88) and features a full length light up LED bar that can change colors to match your event. It has also seen some great company Christmas parties, so book early! In addition, there are pool tables, ping pong, shuffle board, arcade games, and other entertainment for your guests and their children to keep busy for hours to allow for maximum enjoyment at your event.
At this time we allow any licensed catering company. They must provide proof of insurance and proper documentation from the health department showing their legal status to conduct off-site catering.
All alcohol is run through our sister company "Cask Strength Bar and Kitchen" previously known as "The Mark Restaurant". Depending on how you want to run your event, we can pull a liquor catering license and legally sell directly to your guests ($1500 minimum in sales) or you can pay for an open bar and your guests drink free! We have everything from basic well liquor to premium bourbon and tequila.
We have simplified our packaging to just the basics. We still have connections to all our vendors, however, due to Covid we have eliminated all packages and have a basic entry offering. All event rentals include tables (60 inch round or 8 foot rectangle), chairs, and security (by Golden Empire Security). This also includes soda and water, or the bar tender(s) depending on how you select to cover alcohol. Our venue pricing is $6000 on Saturdays. $5000 on Friday and Sunday. $4000 Monday-Thursday. We are a large venue. We typically book events of 200-388. We do have multiple rooms, but our two large rooms are always booked together as one unless your event occurs within 60 days from your booking date. For example, January 1st you can book any date that we have available in January or February for a discounted rate if you are only requiring one room.
