We owned a restaurant named AKIRA for 30 years, it was a town favorite where everybody would celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and every night dinners. It was a full teppanyaki (7 grills) and sushi restaurant. We closed our doors during the pandemic because it wasn’t sustainable with indoor eating restrictions.
We opened Kyoto Japanese Grill to provide the same high quality food our customers are used to while changing the typical teppanyaki meal, for most people this style of food was not always the most convenient because of the time commitment involved with the show and waiting times.
