I would highly recommend Farewell From Home. They answered my text message immediately about my sweet cat Rex(17yrs). Overnight Rex had taken a rapid decline in health and was unable to use his back legs. They we’re able to come to my home the very next day. Dr.Alvarado showed up on time, he was extremely compassionate and kind. He has a very calming presence and I knew I was putting my cat in loving hands. Dr.Alvarado took the time to explain each step and how everything would work, all while giving me as much time as I needed to say one more final goodbye. It was a very sad experience for me but I’m so thankful for this service and for Dr.Alvarado. I opted for the full package, euthanasia, removal and private cremation. Everything went smoothly and there were some wonderful little surprises in the end. Dr.Alvarado even personally delivered the ashes back to us. Everything was above and beyond. Dr Alvarado was amazing His compassion and Expertise couldnt be finer You know how much he cared for animals with every move he made! We firmly believe that pets are important members of the family that deserve a private, compassionate and dignified farewell. We started Farewell From Home to provide a humane, comfortable and peaceful end-of-life service for pets and their families. We have a deep understanding of the human-animal bond and strive to respect and maintain that special relationship until the end.
We understand how stressful and difficult it can be to transport ill, elderly and/or immobile pets to a veterinary hospital for end-of-life care and wish to offer support while alleviating this burden by providing our services in the comfort of your home.
We will come to your home to provide euthanasia services for your pet, and leave your pet with you after they have passed. No cremation will be performed, and no memorial products (i.e. paw print, jewelry and/or urn) will be offered.
Your pet will be cremated along with other pets. Their cremated remains will not be returned to you. A clay paw print can be provided at your request for an additional cost.
Your pet will be privately cremated. You will receive your pet’s ashes in an urn of your choice and a clay paw print in 2 weeks or less. Other memorial items are available at an additional cost.
