Paul Rodriguez is a Mexican-American standup comedian and television and movie actor. He is ranked number 74 on Comedy Central’s list of the 100 Greatest Stand-up Comedians of all time! Rodriguez started his career as a comedian after he was done experimenting with military services. He started by working as a doorman at L.A.’s world-famous The Comedy Store. He started appearing briefly on television, but it was not until he appeared on ‘a.k.a. Pablo’ that he achieved much deserved media attention. His career has extended for more than two decades and includes starring roles and featured appearances in over 30 films and innumerable television series and specials. Besides acting and standup comedy and managing his own comedy venue in West Hollywood, ‘Laugh Factory’, he works with civic and educational groups like, Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, etc. For such contributions, he has been honored with the ‘Humanitarian of the Year Award’ by the ‘City of Fresno’.
